In 1981 graduated from the Faculty of Biology and Medicine of Pirogov Medical University, majoring in biophysics. In 1983-1986 – PhD student at Carcinogenesis Mechanisms Laboratory of the Research Institute of Carcinogenesis of N.N. Blokhin Russian Cancer Research Center, in 1987 defended her PhD thesis, and in 2000 – doctoral thesis, receiving doctoral degree in Biological Sciences. Currently heading Carcinogenesis Mechanisms Laboratory at N.N. Blokhin Russian Cancer Research Center, Moscow.
