Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Leading Researcher of the Biological Microchips Laboratory of the Engelhardt Institute of Molecular Biology of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Pr. Nasedkina’s main research is focused on molecular tumor markers in various oncological diseases (acute leukemias, melanoma, breast cancer), as well as identification and analysis of genetic risk factors of toxic effects of treatment of oncological diseases in children. Additionally, she develops methods of multiparameter analysis of molecular and genetic markers. Under her supervision, biochip-based test systems for personified medicine including diagnosis of oncological and genetic conditions, personal identification were developed. She has developed a high-sensitivity method for determination of somatic mutations in tumor cells.
Dr. Nasedkina has authored more than 20 patents for inventions and more than 200 scientific publications. Under her supervision, 9 theses were defended
