Bozhenko Vladimir Konstantinovich

MD, DSc, Professor, Head of the Biochemistry Laboratory of the Department of Pathomorphology and Laboratory Diagnostics, Russian Scientific Center of Roentgen Radiology, Ministry of Health of Russia; Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation.

In 1979, Dr. Bozhenko graduated from the N.I. Pirogov 2nd Moscow Medical State University.

In 1983, after completing a PhD program, he successfully defended his PhD thesis at the Biological Faculty of the Lomonosov Moscow State University.

Dr. Bozhenko has been working at the Russian Scientific Center of Roentgen Radiology, Ministry of Health of Russia since 1983, first as a junior researcher, then since 1984 as a senior researcher.

In 1993, he became the Head of the Laboratory for Lab Testing.

In 2004, he successfully defended his DSc thesis.

In 2006, he received the title of Honored Doctor of the Russian Federation.

In 2009, Dr. Bozhenko became the head of a newly formed Department of Pathomorphology and Laboratory Diagnostics, which in 2014 was transformed into the Department of Molecular Biology and Experimental Therapy of Tumors.

Dr. Bozhenko’s scientific interests include clinical laboratory diagnostics in oncology, molecular biology of tumors, gene and cell therapy, peptide inhibitors of intracellular processes, CAR-T therapy.

Dr. Bozhenko has authored more than 200 publications and holds 12 patents.
