Pr. Kazanskiy’s scientific research interests include immunoregulatory aspects of TCR interaction with natural and artificial ligands; antitumor vaccines; mechanisms of identification of allogenic tumors; differences between functional subclasses of CD8+ T cells (naïve T cells, cytotoxic T cells, regulatory cells and memory cells) in conditions of their activation; superantigens, identification of MMTV products; autoimmunity mechanisms; unusual subpopulation of antigen-presenting cells participating in immune response to allogenic tumors; T-cell receptor transgenesis and mechanisms of intra-thymus and peripheral selection of T cells; nature of allogenic recognition and MHC restriction.
